Meditation really began to gain traction in Western culture during the 1960s. The 60s was a decade of exploration, experimentation and expansion of the mind. I started to question all of this. How could I be so aware of what was happening? How could I know exactly what to do? I’ll admit, it took awhile, but I realized that what was happening was happening from inside, from listening to my inner self.

Repeat day 12 but this time, try to feel the energy that passes through your body and make it go all the way to your palms as you breathe out. As you breathe in, feel it pass from your palms back into the centre of your body so that it can repeat the cycle again.

So take some moment at the beginning of your meditation and reflect on your intent, the very reason why you are sitting down and going within. Focus on it and let yourself connect to feeling it. Let this feeling of spiritual desire carry you all the way in.
