I always say that making money online isn’t hard – but it requires hard work. Hard work like trying to find out the best way to do certain things and how to really expand, and succeed. If I had to start all over again I’d do a lot of things differently – and I mean a lot of things. But we all have to suffer our own setbacks to really appreciate how far we’ve come. (Or so I’m told at least;-) So here’s what I would do if I was completely new to making money online.
Blogs are another way to create community. The really interesting and well written blogs are visited regularly, and most give the reader an easy way to post comments. Regular reading and posting make the good blogs even better.
As you are evaluating how to get rich quick ideas, do not forget to consider discover new things. There are many different ways to make money from them and people absolutely love them. All you really need to do is to go online and set up your website. Make sure you advertise and keep your site current. If people what to know what you have to say, they will visit often and tell their friends about the site.
When you do this search you’ll discover blog posts that list blogs that enable dofollow comments. The problem with these blog lists is you’re not the only person commenting on these blogs. Worse yet, usually once the SEO community discovers a blog is dofollow, there’s an ambush of spam comments (called spamments). When this happens, many webmasters turn comments to nofollow. My point is many blogs on these lists available to all are usually nofollow by the time you discover the blogs.
As an example, if a blogger suggests you try a premier blogging system and also you click on the link to blog, that blogger most likely just produced an affiliate sale. They might have received a set dollar amount or even a percentage of the purchase.
Savvy business people have realized that blogs can be an excellent way to promote themselves, their business, or make easy money. The most popular way that this is done is through Google Adsense. Using this, bloggers are able to sell advertising off of their blog and collect cash just for keeping a blog. Those with very successful blogs are raking in the cash simply off of their AdSense ads. It is very easy and free to start doing this, and many have cashed in, and in big ways. Some blog hosts have even allowed their users to ad AdSense using the same account, making it even easier to make money with blogs.
But how does any of this tie in to online profits? Well, one of the key aspects of blogs is that they are updated often. As such, search engines love to spider blogs. They also love the way information is organized on blogs, so blogs can quickly become quality search engine spider food. This translates to traffic, and if you’re smart enough to stuff your blog with links to your primary site, you can convert that traffic into sales.
At the end of the day, deciding on whether or not you want to have a website or blog will depend on what your purpose is, your skill level, and budget. Visit blogs to see what they look like and how they are structured and do the same with websites. Then decide what will work best for you and what you want to achieve.
