One year ago, my father asked me, the young internet entrepreneur, “What’s a blog?” I paused for minute. I had heard the term before … but I couldn’t answer him. I honestly didn’t know. Little did I know that so many people would soon tap into a new type of gold mine and make money with blogs.
Personal Blogs can be created for free and some even custom designed (For a small fee that is). They have different templates and different formats something to satisfy everyone. The fee ranges from $2.99 and up and can be paid monthly or yearly; Depending on the person’s preference.
On the other hand, I say this with a sheepish smile, since give me feedback are free, I set up another blog in Google for my family and friends where I simply post pictures of the family and news about them. This I have no need to be picked up by web search engines, and just pass out the URL to my kids and close friends. Which is another way to use blogs.
If you’re a long way from home, this can also be a great way to keep up with friends and family. Think of it as a great new way to share the baby’s first steps with his or her grandparents.
Your pay, as a professional freelance blogger, depends on the payment that you negotiate for yourself. The pay you can demand depends on: your blogging experience, your writing experience, your ideas, and most of all, on your confidence in your skills.
They should be closely related to eachother. There’s a natural tendency to keep adding categories as you write new posts about other topics, but don’t go overboard. It’s sometimes better to start a new blog than keep adding categories.
At the moment I’m using blogs here and there just to increase this very website’s popularity. But since I like blogging so much, I am going to keep doing it for the fun of it.
